My Travel Makeup Bag

It’s safe to say that as I write this I am pretty darn excited about my upcoming trip but by the time you read it I’ll have been back for more than a week.. the craziness that is scheduled posts, eh? To ensure that I would have some breathing space over my holiday and just after getting back I went a bit mad and over-prepared so this was the first slot available to show you what I took with me.. I’ll also be sharing what I took in my toiletries bag in a couple of days too so those interested in hair/skin care keep an eye out for that!

BTW, here’s my friend’s latest “review” video, I know some of you liked the old one 🙂

My Purple Toothbrush!

An electric toothbrush is one of those not so exciting beauty gadgets that totally changes your hygiene routine. It’s not something you’d usually be telling all your friends about but it’s an instant WOW and really other than whitening dental products don’t get enough blog press, do they? If I find a toothpaste I’m particularly excited about (I have uber sensitive teeth) I will mention it either here or in a video on my YouTube channel so I figured ‘life’ changing toothbrush deserved a review.

We had an electric toothbrush a couple of years ago, I believe it was a Christmas gift from my Mum. We loved it until it broke (stopped charging) and replaced it with regular manual toothbrushes and moved on with our lives. I just forgot how great it was until I got this one, my teeth just don’t feel as clean with a regular brush and now I’m a little older and care a little more (Spike Milligan warned us!) about my teeth I’ll never be without an electric one again.. especially since they’re nowhere near as expensive as they once were. You used to be talking £100 minimum for an electric toothbrush but this is a quarter of that and for what it does I think it’s absolutely worth it. Bonus – this one’s purple, my favourite colour… not so bonus for my husband who I’ve bought a brush head for but hey, he’ll just have to deal with it.
