VOTE FOR ME!!!!! please?

Prepare for an entirely brazen request for your votes! I am overwhelmingly excited to have been shortlisted for a Cosmo Blog Award this year. The year I started blogging was the year of the first Cosmo Blog Awards. Early on I set myself two blogging ‘ambitions’, they were to become a member of Handpicked Media (at the time I really didn’t know what it was but it looked exclusive and I wanted in!) the second was to be nominated for a Cosmo Blog Award!! Looks like I’ll have to set some new goals. I’m under no illusion that I can win as I’m up against heavy weights such as Fleur De Force who let’s face it has the equivalent internet reach of the bloody Queen but every one of you that votes for me will make me very very happy indeed!!

I still can’t believed enough of you voted to get me to the shortlisting stage.. I am so so grateful but today has taught me one thing. I take blogging way too seriously haha! When I started getting congratulatory tweets I could have thrown up in my lap (tmi?). For some this is probably not a big deal at all.. I mean at the end of the day the award is a piece of paper in a frame but it is so exciting for a little Northern Blogger like me!

Thanks again… and given that I discovered the news on my shiny new iMac screen today really couldn’t get much better!!
